Nowa Huta
Nowa Huta is Krakow's communist district designed by the Soviet Union. It is one of only two fully-planned socialist realist settlements. The suburbs of Krakow symbolize the utopian vision of the communist city. Nowa Huta is designed in a homogenous and harmonious way and was supposed to be a proletarian paradise. During your stay, it is worth to visit the PRL Museum, Mogiła Abbey, Wanda Mound, and take part in walking tours around this district.
