
Frankfurt Old Town
Located on the northern Main riverbank, the Old Town of Frankfurt used to be Germany’s largest timber-framed old town. After being destroyed during World War II, the district between the Römerberg and Cathedral Square was recently reconstructed to match its past magnificence.
